What data we collect

When you enquire, sign up, or purchase a service, we may collect your name and email address. If you become a coaching client, we will also collect health and fitness data — including injury history, movement assessments, and training progress — in order to deliver the service. Payment information is handled securely by a third-party processor; we do not store card details. We also collect anonymised website usage data through cookies, which is covered separately below.

Why we collect it

We collect and use your data for the following reasons: to deliver coaching services and programme materials (on the basis of contract); to respond to enquiries (on the basis of legitimate interests); to send marketing emails, where you have given consent (which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing); and to comply with legal and financial obligations such as tax record-keeping.

How long we keep your data

Client records are retained for six years following the end of the coaching relationship, in line with UK tax requirements. Health and fitness data is deleted within 12 months of the coaching relationship ending. Marketing email data is retained until you unsubscribe or request removal. General enquiries are retained for two years.

Third parties

We use Kit (formerly ConvertKit) to manage our mailing list and send emails, and Trainerize to deliver coaching programmes and manage client check-ins. Both are bound by their own data processing agreements. We do not sell your data to any third party.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access the data we hold about you, request corrections, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, and request a portable copy of your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at brynprattcoach@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Sales Terms & Policies

These terms apply to all coaching services purchased through our website or directly from us. By making a payment, you confirm that you have read and agree to what follows.

Pricing

All prices are in GBP. We reserve the right to update pricing with a minimum of 30 days' written notice to existing clients.

Commitment and payment

Online bespoke coaching requires a minimum three-month commitment. Payment is taken monthly, upfront, via direct debit at the start of each billing period. The Ground Up programme is a monthly rolling subscription with no minimum term. In-person coaching is billed monthly with no minimum term unless otherwise agreed.

Cancellation and refunds

To cancel any service, written notice must be provided at least two weeks before your next payment date. Cancellation of online bespoke coaching within the three-month minimum term will result in a 50% refund on any remaining months paid. Cancellations received with less than two weeks' notice may result in the following month's payment being processed before cancellation takes effect.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason. Where coaching services or digital content have begun at your request within this period, your right to a full refund may be reduced proportionally. Please contact us immediately if you wish to cancel within this window.

Health and scope

Our coaching services do not include meal planning, running coaching, or medical advice of any kind. By purchasing a service, you confirm that you are in suitable health to participate in physical training, or that you have sought appropriate medical advice before doing so. We are not medical professionals, and nothing within our coaching services constitutes medical advice. Coaching outcomes depend on client participation and cannot be guaranteed.

Liability

Our liability in connection with any coaching service is limited to the total amount paid by the client in the three months preceding the relevant event. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Accessibility Statement

We are committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of technology or ability. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Our site is written in plain English, designed for keyboard navigation, and built with colour contrast that meets minimum accessibility standards.
